Kate Rayner

Kate is a Partner and Head of Thomas Mansfield Family Law. As a specialist family lawyer with over 25 years’ experience dealing exclusively in family law, Kate brings a wealth of expertise to her cases.

Kate deals with all aspects of family law specialising in financial cases with substantial income and capital often involving family run businesses, trust structures and overseas assets and both matrimonial and non-matrimonial assets. She regularly advises on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.

She also acts for parents in domestic children cases.

She is accredited as a family law specialist by Resolution with particular expertise in dealing with financial divorce settlements and arrangements for children post separation. She is also a trained collaborative lawyer.

Kate focuses on achieving practical solutions for her clients and her objective is to understand what her clients want to achieve and deliver the outcome which enables them to move on with their lives.

Kate is recognised in the Legal 500 for her “calm and professional” manner.

Kate Rayner previously headed up the regional office of a national family law firm and is responsible for the ongoing development of the family team at Thomas Mansfield Solicitors.
