Samantha Rees is a senior associate in family team. Samantha is experienced in a broad range of family matters, including divorce, civil partnership dissolution and disputes relating to children. She has particular expertise in relation to matrimonial finance cases involving high-net-worth individuals, complex business structures, trust arrangements and assets overseas.
Samantha also advises unmarried couples/cohabitants, drafting cohabitation agreements and advising clients on issues that arise following the breakdown of their relationship.

Samantha is known for pragmatic approach and takes time to understand her client’s concerns and provides strategic advice with this in mind.
Samantha is committed to dealing with cases constructively and strives to achieve family-focused solutions. If court proceedings are required, Samantha has significant litigation experience.
Experience
Samantha completed her legal training at a large regional practice and moved to London to pursue her legal career, specialising in family law.
Samantha Rees holds a LLB (Hons) Law Degree from Queen Mary University, London and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC LLM) at the University of Law, passing with Distinction. She qualified as a solicitor in 2018.
