Digital Marketing Specialist

Role overview

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team and help drive the next stage of our digital marketing strategy.

This is a newly created role, reporting to the Head of Marketing & Business Development, and offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

You’ll take ownership of our websites and digital channels, enhancing brand and service line visibility, supporting lead generation and driving engagement. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong background in digital marketing within the professional services sector and a passion for delivering data-driven results.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Business Development, internal teams and external consultants to keep the firm’s digital marketing strategy up to date, making sure it supports business goals and uses new technologies effectively.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of SEO, PPC, email marketing and social campaigns, with involvement of practice teams and support of external specialists.
  • Manage and maintain the firm’s websites, ensuring content is current, optimised and aligned with brand messaging.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the firm’s social media strategy and presence across platforms.
  • Encourage wider team engagement with social media and provide internal training and guidance on best practices.
  • Create and publish engaging, on-brand content across digital channels; monitor performance and respond to interactions.
  • Analyse campaign performance, user behaviour and engagement metrics to inform strategy and optimise results.
  • Work with practice groups to develop and deliver targeted digital campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging and visual identity across all digital content.
  • Support the firm’s online reputation management, including monitoring and responding to reviews.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of multimedia content, including video, written and podcast formats.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (e.g. developers, designers, digital agencies) to deliver high-quality outputs.

Key skills & experience required

  • Degree in marketing, communications or relevant digital marketing qualifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the legal industry.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role, ideally within legal, finance or other professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media strategy.
  • Experience with website CMS (preferably WordPress).
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent copywriting and visual content creation skills.
  • Strong understanding of UX and web design principles.
  • Experience with video production and editing.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
