Kathryn is trainee solicitor at Thomas Mansfield Solicitors. She joined the firm 2019 as a paralegal, while undertaking a Legal Practice Course.
Kathryn supports the family solicitors in progressing matters in a timely and sensitive manner and focuses on achieving the best possible outcome for clients. She understands the anxiety clients may feel when instructing a lawyer and believes it important to act with patience, understanding and provides clients with clear and concise explanations. Kathryn is especially experienced in assisting with the preparation of full and frank financial disclosures in accordance with the court’s specific requirements. Kathryn also assists our solicitors by drafting applications to the court for divorce and childcare disputes.
Kathryn has a broad knowledge of the mediation process and can advise clients about the advantages of mediation. During her time at university, Kathryn won an award for her co-mediation skills and also competed in a UK National Student Mediator Competition where her team placed third.
Kathryn graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a First-Class degree in law in 2019.
