Amelia advises on all aspects of family law and specialises in financial remedy proceedings. She works with a wide range of clients from high-net worth individuals to vulnerable clients and those with international aspects to their cases. Amelia puts a strong emphasis on personal service and bespoke strategic and cost-effective solutions for every client.
Amelia has experience in advising on pre and post nuptial agreements, obtaining injunctive relief for clients in abusive or violent relationships, TOLATA claims, financial claims for unmarried couples on behalf of children, negotiating child contact arrangements or variations to final orders, achieving clean break financial orders and advising clients on all aspects of financial remedy proceedings from First Appointments to Final Hearings.
Amelia joined Thomas Mansfield in 2021 from a London firm based in Fulham and Chelsea, having trained with a specialist divorce and family law firm. Amelia studied law at the University of Westminster (LLB Hons) and gained her LLB at City University London in 2014, qualifying as a solicitor in April 2019.
Amelia has worked and supported legal charities and currently sits on the board of Evolve FILA (the Foundation for International Legal Assistance).
Amelia is a member of Resolution, the Law Society’s Junior Lawyers Division and American Women Lawyers in London.
